On Sunday, Nov. 23, fans are invited to join the Netflix x CicLAvia—Melrose Ave: Stranger Things 5 One Last Ride — an epic event bringing fans together to bike, skate, or stroll along a car-free stretch of Melrose Avenue in celebration of the cultural phenomenon’s fifth and final season.
For one day only, fans will step into the world of Stranger Things with immersive photo ops, pedal-powered activations, live entertainment, merch, giveaways, and an exclusive content drop — all taking place just days before Volume 1 hits Netflix on Nov. 26 at 5 p.m. PT.
We’re going full 1980s, and you’re invited to join the fun: show up as your favorite Hawkins character or monster of the Upside Down, or channel peak ’80s vibes with neon, leg warmers, windbreakers, or any retro fit.
If that’s not enough for you, fans can also choose to take part in a special quest along the route. Rack up pins by completing various activities on our quest map to unlock additional surprises.
The event is open to all and no RSVP will be needed. Just grab your bike, board, skates, sneakers … even your stroller, and head on out to Melrose Avenue for a day of fun, community, and adventure.

You can join at any spot along the route; there is no official start or end. The Stranger Things stage will be located in the Fairfax Hub at the corner of Melrose and Fairfax.

Step into the Byers’ living room … the flickering lights, the painted alphabet, the hum of the Upside Down just beyond the wall — a photo moment straight out of Season 1 nostalgia. Available at the Vermont Hub (Melrose between Vermont and Berendo).
📸 The Stranger Things 5 Photo Op
A bold, graphic tribute to Stranger Things 5. It’ll be the perfect backdrop for fans to celebrate their excitement for the new season, with Vecna’s menacing glare lurking just behind. Available at the Vermont Hub (Melrose between Vermont and Berendo).
📸 Castle Byers Photo Op
Step into the world of Will Byers with his hand-built wooden hideout where he fled from demogorgons in the Upside Down, re-created as a photo op for the most daring of fans. Available at the Melrose Hub (Melrose between Irving and Plymouth).
📸 “Stranger Shapes” Challenge by Netflix Puzzled
“Stranger Shapes” is a life-size, Stranger Things-themed tangram challenge that brings Netflix’s Puzzled to life as a physical, hands-on experience. Visitors step into a Puzzled-inspired booth where they race against a 60-second countdown to solve a large wall-mounted tangram puzzle. The setup recreates the fun and challenge of Netflix’s Puzzled app in an immersive, in-person format. Available at the Melrose Hub (Melrose between Irving and Plymouth).
📸 Stranger Things Custom Rides Display Area
Stop by to take pictures with our custom Stranger Things-themed bikes throughout the day. You’ll catch them out on the route for the most part, but they’ll be making stops at the hubs each hour for your chance to get up close and personal. Available at all hubs throughout the day.
📸 One Last Ride Photo Op
Pose with your crew under the One Last Ride archway in celebration of your victory over the Upside Down, and share on social for a FOMO-inducing moment. Tag us using @ciclavia and @StrangerThingsTV. Available at the Fairfax Hub (Melrose between Genesee and Fairfax).
📸 Neon 5 Photo Op
A giant neon 5 looms over Melrose Ave. Take a moment to pose in front of it for your own iconic photo moment to savor. Available at the Fairfax Hub (Melrose between Genesee and Fairfax).
📸 WSQK Radio Photo Op
Hawkins’s beloved WSQK radio station makes for an immersive in-world photo op that cuts through the static and has fans singing ’80s hits for their whole ride home. Rockin’ Robin would be proud. Available at the Fairfax Hub (Melrose between Genesee and Fairfax).
📸 Vecna Immersive Photo Op by Jazwares
Join Jazwares for a large-scale, immersive photo op where fans can put themselves in place of Vecna, recreating the iconic ST4 scene. Product giveaways while supplies last. Available at the Fairfax Hub (Melrose between Genesee and Fairfax).

Begin your mission here at every hub. Grab your quest book to learn what strange trials lie ahead along the route and rack up stamps for a special surprise. Look out for staff, aka Quest Guardians, along the route in red and black Stranger Things-branded shirts.

Head to the Quest Checkpoints at any hub to verify you’ve completed quest challenges and redeem your official Quest stamps.
