In the action-comedy Mission: Cross, a couple who’s hit a lull in their relationship is thrust into a life-or-death mission when a spy turned stay-at-home husband becomes tangled up in a missing person case. And things get even messier when his detective wife thinks his secretive past might mean he’s stepping out on her. Will they blow the case wide open, or their relationship? If you lived to see their fate play out and need another adventure to speed up your heart rate, read on. Whether on the high seas or in the furthest reaches of outer space, the characters in these films embark on precarious capers with their ride-or-dies.

The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure

The action movie The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure, from director Kim Jeong-hoon (The Accidental Detective), follows a crew of fearless pirates and bandits during the Joseon Dynasty who go up against stormy weather and a merciless villain to find a treasure chest lost at sea. The sequel to the 2014’s The Pirates stars Kang Ha-neul (When the Camellia Blooms), Han Hyo-joo (W), and Lee Kwang-soo (It’s Okay, That’s Love).

Space Sweepers

In the year 2092, when four misfits aboard a space debris cleaning ship stumble upon a humanoid named Dorothy built for mass destruction, they attempt to trade her for cold hard cash. The sci-fi film Space Sweepers, from Jo Sung-hee (A Werewolf Boy), stars Song Joong-ki (My Name Is Loh Kiwan), Kim Tae-ri (Twenty Five Twenty One), and Jin Sun-kyu (The Outlaws).

 

Seoul Vibe

In the retro adventure film Seoul Vibe, five friends go on the most thrilling drive of their lives in order to take down a powerful loan shark ahead of the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Starring Yoo Ah-in (Goodbye Earth), Ko Kyung-pyo (Decision to Leave), and Lee Kyoo-hyung (All of Us Are Dead), the movie was directed by Moon Hyun-Sung (As One).
