Everything You Need to Know About Netflix Stories: Sex Education the Mobile Game

Welcome to the cheekiest sixth form summer term you’ll ever experience.

Spending a summer on campus isn’t so bad if you’re carousing with fellow students at a certain secondary school in England. Whether your interests are finding true love or something fun and fleeting, you’ll have to help your classmates through their sexual traumas to do it. Welcome to Moordale Secondary School.

What’s Netflix Stories: Sex Education about?

Netflix Stories: Sex Education finds you dropped off for a summer term at Moordale Secondary.

Your parents are on the verge of divorce, and you’re vying for a scholarship to Moordale, otherwise you’ll have to leave. You’ll have to prove yourself in a trio of categories:

  • Your contributions to Moordale winning the Summer League Cup
  • Passing Sex and Relationships Education (SRE) class and acing a couple of major projects
  • Keeping your nose clean and abiding by the Moordale code of conduct

If that sounds daunting, on top of that, your primary mission is helping the student body out with its bawdy hiccups. You’re on staff at the campus sex and relationship clinic, and Otis invites you to become the team’s Love Guru. Since almost everyone is away for the summer, it’s easier to get closer with the handful of students who are stuck behind.

From there you wind up in an impromptu session with Jean Milburn herself, and start unpacking a complex relationship with your parents and a potential allergy to expressing affection.

Along the way you’ll experience iconic moments from the show. Whether it’s reliving the time when everyone’s cell phones go off because they got a video of Otis’ mum getting handsy with zucchini, or hearing about the time Olivia lost her lunch while in the act. And then there’s Ruby’s leaked photos and attending one of Aimee’s iconic ragers to find new clients.

Just stay on Headmaster Groff’s good side while you’re doing all of the above, k? We all know what happened to his son Adam.

What kind of game is Netflix Stories: Sex Education?

Netflix Stories: Sex Education is a cheeky, interactive comedy where you navigate the cliques and social calculus of the sixth form at an English secondary school. What you choose to “say” in this pocket-sized randy romp determines how the story plays out.

What’s new in Netflix Stories: Sex Education?

The most unique part of Netflix Stories: Sex Education is the therapy aspect. Other Netflix Stories have dabbled in selling real estate and all manner of dating competitions; therapizing your peers makes Sex Education really stand out.

You’ll rub elbows — and maybe more — with familiar faces in familiar spaces, but the story itself is brand new, too. The mobile version of Sex Education also features more inclusive body types for when you’re creating your main character.

Who’s in Netflix Stories: Sex Education?

It’s the summer term and you’re new on campus. Here’s a quick primer on who’s who:

  • Otis Milburn: The adorably awkward campus sex therapist
  • Jean Milburn: Bestselling author, constantly curious sex and relationship therapist, and Otis’ mum
  • Aimee Gibbs: She kissed off the Untouchables and is spending the summer term co-running the clinic; hosts legendary parties at her parents’ palatial mansion
  • Jackson Marchetti: Moordale’s Top Boy and top swimmer. He can be one of your new best friends.
  • Ruby Matthews: Untouchable queen bee who’s also your biggest competition for that scholarship
  • Owen: Always in the wrong place at the wrong time. He’s a good guy, really.
  • Mr. Hendricks: Moordale’s headmaster and chief disciplinarian
  • Anwar Bakshi: Another Untouchable, needs healthier coping mechanisms
  • Luke/Lucy: Plays bass for the Moordale Swingers and is a possible love interest. Just don’t try juggling both them and Evan.
  • Evan: Your impossibly cool old flame who makes a surprise reappearance out of the blue.
  • Olivia: This Untouchable is the sex clinic’s first official client, and may have been the one to leak Ruby’s photos.
  • Headmaster Groff: Always gruff. Sent his son to military school. Generally bad vibes all around.

What kind of customization options are in the Sex Education mobile game?

In the Sex Education mobile game, you’ve got a lot of inclusive customization options to make your main character. It doesn’t matter how your main character identifies or presents, none of the clothes or hair styles are locked to any one choice.

Is Jean Milburn in the Sex Education mobile game?

Yes! Jean has a prominent role in the Sex Education mobile game.

It takes a couple of chapters to meet her, though. And you’ll have to bumble your way to the campus clinic before you start seeing patients. To even find out where it is, you’ll have to play detective and ask the right questions among the Untouchables.

You’ll first meet Jean when she arrives on campus for a complimentary introductory session with your parents. Jean confronts your folks with the fact that they’ve unhealthily enmeshed themselves with you. For once, your avatar has a say in the matter.

Just when it seems like it’s getting all too heavy, it turns out the clinic’s Love Guru has an almost allergic reaction to saying the L word. Jean immediately adds you to her weekly schedule. Does she ever stop working?

Do I need to watch the show to play Netflix Stories: Sex Education?

No. While the game mirrors a bunch of the bigger events from the source material, its story is original. If you want a little more context on who the characters are and what some of the references are, watching the show is the best way to do it. But if you just wanna jump straight to business and play the game, the characters are keen to fill you in on all the gossip and get you up to speed.
