Jamie Lee Curtis won the award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday.
Curtis' performance in the multiverse-hopping sci-fit hit Everything Everywhere All at Once was nominated alongside Angela Bassett (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), Hong Chau (The Whale), Kerry Condon (The Banshees of Inisherin) and Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once).
Jason Bateman and Emily Blunt presented the ecstatic actor with her custom award statue during the ceremony at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. In her speech, a visibly emotional Curtis said she was wearing the wedding ring her father, Tony Curtis, once gave to her mother, Janet Leigh.
"My parents were actors and I married an actor. I love actors. I love acting. I love the job we get to do," she said. “It's such a beautiful job. I know that so many people in our industry who are actors who don't get to do this job.”
“I'm 64 years old, and this is just amazing,” she added, before launching into a chant to celebrate her co-star Michelle Yeoh.
