Awards season might feel like it’s everything everywhere all at once, but the Screen Actors Guild Awards only have one home: Netflix.
For the first time ever, the ceremony honoring performances across film and television will air live on Netflix's YouTube channel globally thanks to a multiyear partnership between Netflix and the SAG Awards.
So grab your popcorn and prepare your ballots, because the 29th Annual SAG Awards will air live around the world on Netflix’s YouTube channel, Twitter, and Facebook on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. (Be sure to bookmark the video below so you’re ready to tune in, or head here for an audio description.)
SAG Awards Committee member and telecast producer Elizabeth McLaughlin says broadcasting the ceremony on Netflix’s platforms will make the evening feel more “intimate.”
“People want to feel connected to these performances and to these actors,” she tells Tudum. “Having the show on Netflix’s YouTube just makes that one step easier.”
“The SAG Awards are unique in the sense that we are the actors’ party at the actors’ house,” she adds. “It’s just your friends and family in that room. That kind of freedom and how the actors can truly let loose at the SAG Awards is going to be turned up to 11 this year. We got a new home. We got a new house, and I feel like we’re ready to celebrate.”

The stars themselves will pack the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles for the ceremony, which stands as the only awards show where the winners are exclusively determined by actors (and the statue they take home is one, too).
This year, The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All at Once lead the pack on the film side with five nominations, including nods in the outstanding ensemble category, which also includes Babylon, The Fabelmans and Women Talking. The final season of Ozark, meanwhile, landed the most nominations for a television series with four total nods.
