What does it take to be a Pogue?
Well, it requires more than a printed button-up shirt and beachy, disheveled hair, that’s for sure. From jumping off ships to hunting down buried gold, the Outer Banks crew of misfits have shown that the Pogue way of life is all about embracing high-stakes escapades and not worrying too much about the consequences. And the cast that plays these islander teens has to have just as much energy and appetite for adventure to get their job done. Which also means that, between takes, they know how to blow off steam.
