On Oct. 1, clairvoyant medium Tyler Henry hosted comedian Nikki Glaser on his weekly live show, Live From the Other Side. In Episode 3, titled “Understanding,” Henry engaged in a conversation with Glaser, her parents Julie and EJ, and friends Andrew Collin and Lizzy Cooperman. Their shared dialogue largely centered on family dynamics, emphasizing the intricacies of relationships, shared memories, and the vital need for connection across generations.

“I was really looking for me and my family to just have an experience that would make us believe that there was something more than this,” Glaser told Tudum after the live taping.

A significant part of their discussion revolved around Glaser’s cherished aunt, Lynn, whom Henry specifically mentioned. One particularly touching moment in the episode occurred when Henry appeared to establish a connection with Lynn, who passed away in 2021.

“Goodbye aunt Lynn,” Glaser shared on Instagram after her aunt’s passing. You were the first person who made me feel special bc I said something funny. You also always told me I’d never get a date because of how I ate; you weren’t wrong. Thank you for being hilarious and loud.”

During his reading, Henry described to Glaser the energy he felt he was receiving from her aunt as she attempted to make a connection.

“It’s a lot of currents, is the way that I would describe [making a connection], Henry said. “Some people are like a white water rapid when they come through, and I can easily just let go and ride that lazy river. The Lynn [connection] strikes me right off the bat as really strong.”

Henry went on to describe what sentiment he felt Lynn was trying to convey to her family, particularly Glaser.

“When I focus on Lynn, I’m struck by joy and happiness,” Henry says. “There’s some sense, she’s showing me my symbol for being the glue that kept things together in a big respect.”

In another portion of the conversation, Henry tells Glaser that he was getting a message related to something he couldn’t quite put his finger on.

“This is going to be bizarre and probably won’t land,” Henry says, “But you know when you push somebody, and they just go, ‘Wee’ and then slam into a wall? It’s like funniness with this that I’m wanting to give someone a joke about, but it’s an acknowledgment of when that happened.”

Glaser then shared a humorous childhood memory about her cousin who passed. Glaser says she playfully called “Crash Hiller,” referring to a game they used to play as children.

“As kids, we used to push him in this [toy] car down a hill,” Glaser says. “His last name was Hiller, we called him ‘Crash Hiller’ and he would wear a helmet, but it was very dangerous, but it was the ’90s.”

Glaser confirmed that the game wasn’t how she lost her cousin, but that hearing this from Henry was a specifically profound connection to a memory they shared.

“I was looking to hear from my cousin, JD,” Glaser told Tudum. “I have no question that it's real, but I wanted everyone to be on board as much as I am with the fact that there's something else out there.”

The show ended on a moment of levity,  wherein Henry brought up something that is a “huge part” of Glaser’s life: bunions.
