It might be April Fool’s Day, but don’t let these new releases trick you. (OK, with the exception of Cliff Beasts 6.) Sometimes watching a movie or show about the pandemic can feel like the Spider-Man pointing meme; it’s like watching a reflection of your very own existential dread playing out. But The Bubble, written and directed by Leslie Mann’s husband, Judd Apatow, will have you learning new TikTok dances instead of doom scrolling Twitter. Featuring a star-studded cast, the comedy places a very real situation into the absurd world of the fictional Cliff Beasts franchise. What you get is a bunch of actors quickly losing their minds for not being able to follow the simplest rules. If you’re more of a hopeless romantic, the Italian rom-com Forever Out of My League is finally here. As the third installment in the Out of My League franchise, the sequel follows the spunky orphan Marta as she navigates love, friendships and a lethal illness. Want to explore more titles for your weekend watchlist? Keep scrolling for the full list.

4/1 The Bubble What it is: Filming the sequel to a dinosaur franchise isn’t a simple feat, but during a pandemic? That’s another story. As a cast and crew are quarantined in a posh hotel during filming, they quickly realize things aren’t as luxurious as they seem. From an on-and-off Hollywood power couple to a TikTok-famous teen, the eclectic cast of Cliff Beasts 6 will go to great lengths to stay sane in their bubble. Some hook up with cast members, while others sneak out (and get shot by security guards). Will they be able to complete their blockbuster before going mad?
Why you should watch it: The ensemble of Judd Apatow’s latest comedy is what seals the deal. Lauren Van Chance (Leslie Mann) and Dustin Mulray (David Duchovny) are a separated couple who must co-star alongside each other, Carol Cobb (Karen Gillan) is an insecure actress hoping to redeem herself after getting canceled and Krystal Kris (Iris Apatow) is a famous TikToker who was just cast because of her 100 million followers. Sequestering with big personalities and egos is a recipe for disaster, but the situation also creates some wholesome moments. Krystal passes the time by teaching her geriatric (millennial and boomer) co-stars TikTok choreography, and Duchovny dancing in a sleeveless tee is a sight you don’t want to miss.

Forever Out of My League What it is: The third installment of the Italian rom-com franchise Out of My League picks up where the last film left off: Marta (Ludovica Francesconi) and her boyfriend Gabriele (Giancarlo Commare) are in the midst of a fight while she’s about to undergo surgery for new lungs. In the latest film, Marta wakes up and rekindles their relationship. Although the transplant is complete, Marta’s anxious about its success as she continues to experience more symptoms.
Why you should watch it: Forever Out of My League is still a rom-com, but the newest sequel highlights the love of Marta’s chosen family more than ever. Marta and her friends Jacopo (Jozef Gjura) and Federica (Gaja Masciale) suddenly become temporary caretakers of a baby and must learn how to keep another human alive, all while the status of Marta’s health is uncertain. As the three friends form a quasi family, Gabriele reaches out to Marta’s estranged grandmother hoping to repair their strained relationship. The overarching theme of family comes to a full circle in the end with the franchise’s biggest climax when Marta’s health rapidly declines.

Get Organized with The Home Edit, Season 2 What it is: Clea and Joanna return to tame the clutter of celebrities and everyday clients with their signature rainbow style — and open a door into their lives. From the homes of ordinary families to the set of The Drew Barrymore Show, the decluttering duo work their magic to make their clients’ spaces aesthetically and functionally beautiful.
Why you should watch it: Spring is here, which means cycling out your winter wardrobe and freshening up the home after a season of hibernation. The hardest part isn’t the decluttering; it’s knowing where to start. Clea and Joanna’s simple approach of editing, categorizing and containing is satisfying to watch — and even more satisfying being able to apply their skills to your home. In one episode, they transform a family’s pantry into a trail mix bar and “farmers market.” Their talent will have you maximizing every space in your home.

Tomorrow What it is: Choi Joon-Woong (Ro Woon) has always had an easy life. He comes from wealthy parents and graduated from a prestigious university — it also helps that he’s good looking. When it comes to finding a job, however, luck isn’t in his bag. One night after a failed interview, Joon-Woong meets two death angels after they accidentally make him half-human, half-spirit. Death angels are already dead but employed by grim reapers at a crisis management team in the underworld to rescue humans from committing suicide. The death angels offer Joon-Woong a job, and he embarks on a series of special missions.
Why you should watch it: You won’t find black cloaks or scythes in this new K-drama. InTomorrow, the underworld looks like a buzzy tech startup with grim reapers and death angels who dress like they’re sitting front row at a New York Fashion Week show. Before watching, it’s important to note that the series deals with topics of suicide and death. It’s a sensitive subject matter, but the supernatural employees operate the underworld like they’re in a workplace comedy. Between the bickering and corporate politics, the death angels are busy saving lives at lightning speed every time their phone flashes red.
