Slide on your finest catsuit and book your blowout appointment: My Unorthodox Life Season 2 is strutting down the runway this winter. Businesswoman Julia Haart’s reality show will return on Friday, Dec. 2, for nine hour-long episodes. The trailer and first photos of the new season hint that glitz and heartbreak are ahead for Julia and the rest of her family.

Season 1 of My Unorthodox Life introduced us to the former orthodox Jewish wife turned CEO of top modeling agency Elite World Group. But Season 2 finds Haart in a very different place: She’s removed as the CEO of Elite and filing for divorce from her mogul husband, Silvio Scaglia. “Silvio fired me,” she says in the trailer with shock in her voice. “It’s in the press already. He shut off my email access. He took me off the credit cards. He has lost his frickin’ mind.”
Now, Julia must fight to control the business empire she helped build — all while maintaining a family that continues to grapple with leaving their orthodox lifestyle behind.
Fittingly, one of the first photos of Season 2 shows Julia leaning on her children for support during a trying moment. But the rest of the images remind us Julia’s life is not all dark clouds despite the breakup. In one photo, Julia proudly poses with daughters Batsheva and Miriam in radiant outfits. In another, she smooches her daughter at the tennis court.
Season 2 won’t be short of the drama, either: Apart from her contentious battle for Elite, Julia also reconnects with Batsheva, guides Miriam in her first committed relationship and counsels her son Aron as he makes serious decisions about his education. The trailer also reveals Julia is in for visits from two reality star pals — one who’s no stranger to Bling and another who’s always been a Real Housewife, if you get our drift.
Tune in this December to learn all the Unorthodox twists and turns ahead for the Haarts.
