Once an orphan, Hae Jo (Woo) now runs a business doing often-shady odd jobs. But his day job loses all meaning once he finds out he has a genetic and terminal brain condition, leaving him only a few months to live. Shortly after, he crosses paths with his ex-girlfriend, Jo Jae-mi (Lee Yoo-mi). Jae-mi is pregnant — or at least that’s what she told fiancé Eo Heung’s wealthy family so they’d allow the pair to get married. But the truth is that she’s just been diagnosed with early menopause and will likely never be able to get pregnant. Now Jae-mi feels stuck … until Hae Jo kidnaps her on her wedding day to join him on a road trip to find his biological father. As the pair reconnect over their life-changing diagnoses, they’re pursued by not only Eo Heung, but also a violent gang that’s out for blood after its leader was left at the altar by one of Hae Jo’s clients.

The series takes place in Seoul and across South Korea.
