Go Eun-sae has no earthly idea who she is or how she’s ended up in a strange village where everyone works in taffy shops. She’s particularly confounded when a man walks into her hospital room claiming to be her boyfriend.
That’s the start of Our Sticky Love, a 12-episode Korean series that follows Eun-sae (Ha Young), a young woman who wakes up with dissociative amnesia, and Jang Tae-ha (Jung Hae-in), a boxing coach who says the two are a couple. But as Eun-sae recovers and the pair grow closer, Eun-sae’s suspicions about Tae-ha grow. Was he ever really her boyfriend? What she doesn’t know about how she landed in this small town may drive a wedge between them — and put them in danger. Can this sticky situation turn into real love, against all odds? Directed by Kim Jang-han (My Demon), the K-rom-com was written by Mo Ji-hye (You Raise Me Up).
“It’s a heartwarming, feel-good romantic comedy,” says Kim. “It’s a story about building love that binds two people as tightly as sticky, sweet, Korean taffy.”

In a quaint countryside town, where the main industry is taffy production, Eun-sae (Ha) wakes up in a hospital with her memory completely gone. She was found injured and unconscious two weeks prior, the doctor informs her. With her fingers damaged, the hospital was unable to identify her, so no one who actually knows her has come to sit by her side. As she struggles to make sense of her surroundings, Tae-ha (Jung) appears and claims to be her boyfriend. The boxing champ, who’s now a coach, is a bit shabby and certainly not what Eun-sae usually goes for, while the quiet small town — with its peculiar residents — feels alien to her.
Though she’s hesitant to trust anything happening around her, Tae-ha’s warmth slowly brings down Eun-sae’s defenses. But just as their relationship seems to be easing into something real, Tae-ha warns her that they can’t let anyone find out that they’re together. What secrets is Tae-ha hiding? And what happened to Eun-sae before her memory disappeared?
