Lockwood & Co. PROMOTION 

1. Participation in this competition, which is brought to you by Netflix Services UK Limited, is subject to these terms and conditions. 

2. Entry is open only to residents of the United Kingdom that are eighteen (18) years of age or older.

3. Entrants must be available to attend the screening event in London on the evening of Thursday 26th January 2023. Further details will be outlined in the digital invite sent to the winners. Travel and accommodation to the screening event is not included in this competition. 

4. There is no entry fee to enter this promotion. Simply enter your details at https://www.netflix.com/tudum/articles/lockwood-co-season-1-screening-ticket-giveaway along with the correct answer to the below riddle (written by Lockwood & Co. Author, Jonathan Stroud) for the chance to win.

5. In submitting an Entry, you:

(i) warrant that you hold any and all rights in the Entry or, where applicable, obtained third party consent for the use of the Entry and are entitled to submit the Entry in order to participate in the promotion;

(ii) indemnify Netflix against any and all claims from third parties that the Entry infringes any third party rights;

(iii) represent that the Entry is in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations and in particular not be obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, pornographic, libellous, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive or capable of encouraging of conduct that would be considered a criminal offence;

(iv) grant Netflix a worldwide, non-exclusive, sub-licensable, royalty-free irrevocable licence in respect of all copyright and other intellectual property rights in and to your Entry to modify, adapt, publish, copy, display, communicate to the public, or otherwise deal with such Entry as Netflix sees fit;

(v) agree to assign all such copyright or other intellectual property rights in your Entry to Netflix if so required by Netflix in the event of winning a prize;

(vi) agree to waive any and all of your portrait rights (to the extent allowed under the applicable law) and have asked any third parties of whom portraits have been used (if any) for their consent to use their portraits/pictures in the Entry; and

(vii) agree to execute all such assignments or other documents and take such any actions as may be reasonably required or requested by Netflix to give effect to the licences and assignments contained in this paragraph. 

6. There is a maximum of one entry per participant. Entering the promotion multiple times will not increase your chance of winning.

7. The opening date for the promotion is Friday 20th January 2023 at 11:59am GMT and the closing date is Sunday 22nd January 2023 at 11:59pm GMT. Entries received before the opening date or after the closing date will not be taken into consideration.

8. In as far as permitted under the applicable law, Netflix assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries which may prevent the entries being included.

9. Participation is excluded for employees, subsidiaries, affiliates, immediate families of Netflix or the promotion agency and any other entity/individual that is directly involved in the promotion. Netflix reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.

10. The individual prize consists of 1 x pair of tickets to the Lockwood & Co. screening event on Thursday 26th January 2023 to the value of £0. Netflix has a total of 5 pairs of tickets to give away to 5 separate winners. The winner’s accompanying guest must also comply with these terms and conditions.  

11. No cash or credit alternatives will be offered, and the prize is not transferable.

12. Netflix reserves the right to substitute the prize(s) (in whole or in part) with a substitute prize(s) of equal or greater monetary value if for any reason the prize(s) as contemplated in these terms and conditions can not be awarded. 

13. Participants' names will be entered into a draw for the prize. The names of the winners will be randomly drawn at the Netflix UK offices on Monday 23rd January at approximately 12pm GMT and the winners will be notified by email to the email address given in the entry form within 1 day. Should the winner fail to respond or claim the prize within 1 day of the date of notification, Netflix reserves the right to select a replacement winner. 

14. Netflix's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

15. Netflix reserves the right to cancel or postpone this promotion without liability upon the occurrence of events or circumstances beyond its control. 

16. In as far as permitted under the applicable law, neither Netflix nor any other person or party associated with running this promotion shall be liable for any indirect loss or damage whatsoever or any loss of profits suffered in connection with any participant's participation in this promotion.

18. Participants' personal data submitted in connection with this promotion will be retained by Netflix Services UK Limited in order to conduct this promotion and also for the purposes of notifying the winners. All such personal data will be processed by Netflix Services UK Limited solely in accordance with its privacy policy, which can be found at netflix/privacy.
