Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) should think about renting a minivan, because the bustling Lincoln Lawyer crew is about to grow by two. Lana Parrilla and Yaya DaCosta have just officially joined the cast for Season 2 of the legal drama, which will run for 10 episodes. Parrilla and DaCosta’s characters seem destined to keep Los Angeles’ star maverick attorney on his toes.
Parrilla, who previously whipped up all kinds of magic as Once Upon a Time’s Regina Mills, will play Lisa Trammell, an esteemed local chef and community advocate. Lisa will enter Mickey’s world as she struggles to keep her beloved restaurant afloat under the threat of a predatory real estate developer with his sights set on her neighborhood.

Lincoln Lawyer fans will recognize that Lisa fits right in with Mickey’s other down-on-their-luck clientele. DaCosta’s character, on the other hand? Not so much.
Chicago Med alum DaCosta portrays Andrea Freeman, a fellow lawyer. Andrea is a ruthless prosecutor and Mickey’s undefeated courtroom rival. To make matters even more complicated, Anna is also a close friend of Mickey’s ex-wife and co-parent Maggie McPherson (Neve Campbell).
You can expect to see Campell’s Maggie once again, along with the rest of your favorite Lincoln Lawyer faces. Becki Newton (Lorna), Jazz Raycole (Izzy) and Angus Sampson (Cisco) will all reprise their roles in Season 2, which is inspired byThe Fifth Witness, the fourth book in Michael Connelly’s Lincoln Lawyer book series. But, we’ll have to wait until Season 2’s still-secret premiere date to find out which lucky character will get a ride to Mickey’s favorite food truck next.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 1 is currently available to stream. Stay tuned for more news about Mickey, Lorna and the rest of the Season 2 cast.
