Jonathan Bailey seems to have a TV show or movie role for every kind of fan. While he got his start on the stage — starring in productions of Les Misérables, Othello, The Last Five Years, King Lear, and more — most audiences will recognize him from his onscreen roles. There was his performance as a young da Vinci in Leonardo; his starring role alongside Matt Bomer (White Collar) as an idealistic congressional staffer in Fellow Travelers; and, of course, his character Lord Anthony in Bridgerton. He brought his theatrical talent to the big screen with the movie adaptation of Wicked, in which he portrayed the “mindless and careless” Fiyero Tigelaar, and is set to reprise the role in the sequel Wicked: For Good. Bailey also co-starred alongside Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Mahershala Ali (Moonlight) in this summer’s Jurassic World Rebirth as paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis.
If you’ve already binged your way through Bridgerton for the billionth time and you’re looking for more Bailey performances, you can also watch these series on Netflix.

Broadchurch, Bailey’s pre-Bridgerton breakout, stars David Tennant (Doctor Who) and Olivia Colman (The Favourite) as hardened detectives working in the fictional English town after which the series is named. The first season focuses on their investigation into the death of 11-year-old Danny Latimer (Oskar McNamara), with Bailey playing a local journalist who covers the case. Jodie Whittaker (Toxic Town), Andrew Buchan (Black Doves), and Arthur Darvill (Legends of Tomorrow) co-star.

Created by and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Crashing follows six 20-something friends living together as property guardians in an abandoned hospital. They care for the building in exchange for cheaper rent as their relationships grow more complicated. Bailey plays Sam, a member of the group who becomes especially close with the shy Fred (Amit Shah).

This coming-of-age story about a teenager, Charlie (Joe Locke), who falls in love with his classmate Nick (Kit Connor), is based on writer and illustrator Alice Oseman’s webcomic and graphic novel of the same name. Bailey guest-stars in the third season as Jack Maddox, a historian Charlie looks up to. The supporting cast includes William Gao (Sunrise), Yasmin Finney (Mars), Tobie Donovan (Lynley), Corinna Brown (The Summer I Turned Pretty), and Kizzy Edgell (Dead Red Kite).
