And it’s just as deliciously over the top as it always was.

The television landscape is rife with cooking competition shows. We’ve got pitmaster battles, British bake-offs, a Top Chef for every major city, at least two different programs featuring chef Gordon Ramsay screaming at people, and a competition exclusively for people making cakes that don’t look like cakes. But would any of these shows exist without the OG stylized food competition series, Iron Chef? Probably not. Both the Japanese original and the American remake set the bar for what a high-octane cooking competition should look like. And guess what? It’s coming back, with all the drama to boot.

In Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend, five new Iron Chefs will compete against Challenger Chefs in the grandiose Kitchen Stadium. According to the official synopsis, “The competition’s most successful Challenger will return to battle in a grand finale for the chance to be named the first ever ‘Iron Legend.’” Alton Brown returns as a host alongside Top Chef Season 10 winner Kristen Kish. Mark Dacascos is back as well, hopefully to shout out the secret ingredients this time around, too. And here’s hoping that there’s at least one cameo featuring original Iron Chef host Takeshi Kaga taking a big ol’ bite out of a bell pepper.

Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend launches June 15 only on Netflix. It’s just one of many new titles that Golden, Netflix’s home for celebrating the Pan-Asian diaspora, is highlighting for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
