Sima Aunty is getting back to work in Season 2 of Indian Matchmaking, in which we check in with some original cast members and also meet a motley collection of new clients looking for love.

Indian Matchmaking’s approach to romance is to really get to know clients and their families along their journey to finding a partner. As cast members look for their one and only, they also explore their own Indian identity and figure out what is actually important to them in a relationship.

What happens in Indian Matchmaking Season 2?

Sima Taparia, Mumbai’s favorite matchmaker, returns to help her clients get real about pursuing a committed relationship.

Over the course of eight one-hour episodes, Sima works with a series of millennials who seek expert help in finding lifelong partners. Starting with a wish list of personality traits, guiding values and physical characteristics from her clients, the star matchmaker consults her pool of eligible bachelors and bachelorettes to find the most compatible matches. Along the way, some dates go well, and some... don’t. Sima offers advice and support throughout the process, often bringing lessons on compromise.
