The Ghostbusters, now back in their OG home of NYC, go up against a dark spirit from ancient times after stumbling upon a strange artifact. Can the veteran squad and the new recruits unite in time to save the planet from another ice age — and an undead army? Directed by Gil Kenan (Monster House) and co-written by Kenan and producer Jason Reitman (Juno), the adventure comedy Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a sequel to 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The film stars Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Bill Murray, and Finn Wolfhard.

It’s three years after the events in Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Gary (Rudd), his girlfriend Callie (Coon), Callie’s children Phoebe (Grace) and Trevor (Wolfhard), and their pals Podcast (Kim) and Lucky (O’Connor) just made the move from Oklahoma to New York City. The group plans to bring back the Ghostbusters business to its original location. Together with Winston (Hudson) and Ray (Murray), the newbies and the veterans band together to take on the city’s scariest ghosts — that is, until they stumble upon a cursed orb from ancient times that threatens all of humanity.
