The Turkish mystery thriller Not a Stranger follows Funda, who wants to return to her career as a painter — which she’d paused after giving birth to her daughter. Luckily, she meets a woman who seems like the perfect caretaker for her child, and the two immediately hit it off. But once the nanny’s all settled in, Funda and her husband slowly realize their new arrangement may unearth trouble that neither of them are ready to face.
