    Meet the Contenders at The Fall Edit: An FYSEE Showcase

    It’s an awards season bonanza with star-studded panels and sneak previews.

With awards season in full swing, The Fall Edit: An FYSEE Showcase returns this November, welcoming guild members to a star-studded lineup of events and speakers representing some of your favorite shows. 

The showcase will take place across two weekends, and the first is all about the drama, with events that celebrate Baby Reindeer, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, The Diplomat, and Ripley. An advance screening of the highly anticipated second season of Squid Game will close out the first weekend. 

The following weekend will highlight top contenders in comedy, starting with the series you couldn’t get enough of, Nobody Wants This, along with a sneak peek of No Good Deed from WGA Award–winning writer Liz Feldman. The evening will conclude with a premiere screening of Michael Schur’s forthcoming A Man on the Inside, with a special guest appearance from comedian and series star Ted Danson.

Here’s a breakdown of the full schedule of events. 

Saturday, Nov. 2

  • Baby Reindeer: The show’s creator, executive producer, and writer Richard Gadd, along with Emmy Award winner Jessica Gunning and actor Nava Mau, will discuss the six-time, Emmy Award–winning drama series.
  • Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story: Co-creator, executive producer, director, and writer Ian Brennan sits down with stars Javier Bardem, Chloë Sevigny, Cooper Koch, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, and the artisans behind Monsters to discuss bringing the historic case to life in this limited series. 
  • The Diplomat: DC heads to Los Angeles — creator, writer, and executive producer Debora Cahn and fellow executive producer Janice Williams join actors Keri Russell, Rufus Sewell, Ali Ahn, Ato Essandoh, Allison Janney, and casting director Julie Schubert for a conversation about the drama’s second season, coming Oct. 31.

Sunday, Nov. 3

  • Ripley: Dive deep into the making of the four-time Emmy Award–winning limited series with director, writer, and executive producer Steven Zaillian, actor Eliot Sumner, composer Jeff Russo, editor David O. Rogers, and supervising sound editor and re-recording mixer Larry Zipf. 
  • Squid Game: The game is on, and voters will be able to watch a special advance screening of the highly anticipated second season of the award-winning global phenomenon. Following the screening, Emmy-winning director Hwang Dong-hyuk and Emmy-winning actor Lee Jung-jae will sit down for a special conversation ahead of the global series premiere on Dec. 26.

Sunday, Nov. 10

  • Nobody Wants This: Fall head over heels for the hit romantic comedy series with a special screening followed by a conversation with creator and writer Erin Foster, executive producer and star Kristen Bell, stars Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn, and costume designer Negar Ali-Kline.
  • No Good Deed: Voters are invited to attend an advance screening of the star-studded comedy series ahead of the Dec. 12 premiere. Following the screening, Emmy-winning creator and showrunner Liz Feldman (Dead to Me) and actors Lisa Kudrow, Linda Cardellini, Teyonah Parris, and Abbi Jacobson, and production designer Nina Ruscio and casting director Sherry Thomas, will participate in a conversation.
  • A Man on the Inside: Join us for a special premiere screening event for the new comedy series from award-winning creator and writer Michael Schur and starring Emmy winner Ted Danson. Following a special advance screening, actor and comedian D’Arcy Carden (The Good Place) will moderate a conversation with Schur, Danson, and actors Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, Stephanie Beatriz, and Margaret Avery.
