So you’ve binged all three seasons of Emily in Paris to prep for Season 4, and by this point, you know more French than Emily Cooper. How else can you pass the time before finding out if Emily and Gabriel will finally have their happily ever after? By playing through your own version of an old-world fairy tale in Netflix Stories: Emily in Paris, the mobile game.

If you think it’ll be nothing but clinking Champagne flutes while you sashay through cobblestone streets with your squad, think again. Your adventure mirrors Emily’s, meaning you’ll juggle romance, office rivalries, and the challenge of picking out the chicest outfit for every occasion.

It might sound overwhelming at first, but don’t worry: With our guide, navigating life in the City of Light will be easier than accidentally demolishing a box of chocolate croissants.

Play Netflix Stories: Emily in Paris — ad-free with no in-app purchases or extra fees — with your Netflix subscription. Just download it to your Android or iOS device.

Oh, the places you’ll go!

Like the hit Netflix rom-com, the Emily in Paris mobile game takes players on a whirlwind tour of the brightest spots in the storied city and beyond. You arrive in France’s capital just before Paris Fashion Week, but there’s much more to see and do beyond the runway. From world-famous landmarks and quaint courtyards to clever nods to the show’s locations, there’s plenty on the map here.

Check out some of the stops on this itinerary:

  • L’Espirit de Gigi: Admit it, you’ve wanted Gabriel to make a meal for you since Season 1, and now you can make that a (digital) reality.
  • Palais Garnier: This time, there will be zero awkward lobby breakups, just a posh office party at the historic opera house.
  • The Eiffel Tower: Who hasn’t wanted to smooch the object of their affection under the Iron Lady? Play your conversations right, and you could find yourself atop the tower, gazing into the eyes of someone special while a blissfully unaware Paris bustles below.
  • Loire Valley: Your love interest Alexandre’s family estate serves as the backdrop where you’ll devise a plan to save your apartment and the 200-year-old bookstore below it.
  • Champagne: Can you make sparkling wine out of sour grapes? You’ll have to if you want to earn a VIP pass to the Cannes Film Festival.
  • Southern France and the French Riviera: Yacht parties. A smattering of sexy A-list celebrities in your midst. A missing best friend. Cannes really does have it all.

Let’s get fabulous.

No one does fashion quite like Parisians (sorry, New Yorkers), and you’ll need to show off if you want to get noticed. Lucky for you, in the Emily in Paris mobile game, there’s a chic look for just about any situation. And that’s before you even start trying on designer Indigo’s latest collection.

If you’re overwhelmed by all the sartorial choices in this extensive wardrobe, don’t fret: You can always adjust mid-scene if, say, you suddenly feel like pink calf boots, a striped sweater, and a blue suit are more appropriate for a charity event than a little black dress ever could be. Be bold.

Please don’t stop the music.

Keep your earbuds in if you want to feel the Parisian vibes while you play: Jazz Manouche is the order of the day on Netflix Stories: Emily in Paris’ soundtrack, so think accordion, violin, and light, plucky Romani guitar as your accompaniment.

Enjoy the art of conversation.

The core of the Emily in Paris mobile game’s play revolves around what you say to those around you. Choose your words carefully because, much like in real life, everyone remembers how your words made them feel — from your office rival Chloe to your besties Emily and Mindy, and plenty of other cast members in between.

Keeping track of all of this could be a nightmare, but you can access your contact list at any time to get a quick rundown on all the characters you’ve met so far and to check where you stand with everyone. Like in other Netflix Stories games, this is represented with a progress bar and an emoji that gives you an instant temp check on a character’s affinity for you.

These mini bios offer a window into each character’s personality and may even give you clues about how to approach tougher conversations. The Notes tab provides a recap of each episode’s biggest events, helping to refresh your memory of the choices you’ve made that impact the narrative.

At the end of each episode, you’ll have the chance to review those choices. The game specifically labels your critical decisions here as well, so you know what decisions and moves went deeper than surface level before advancing to the next episode.
