Ever wish you could jump straight into the heart-pounding action of a dungeon crawler without all the tedious wandering and chatting? If you’re all about looting, leveling up, and slaying beasts, but could do without the boring bits, then Dungeon Boss: Respawned is your game.

This Netflix-exclusive title takes everything you love about action-RPGs and slices away the slow, dull parts like a masterful sword strike. It’s packed with corpse-carving, treasure-collecting, and character-evolving fun, but you won’t waste any time on pointless exploration, confusing puzzles, or long-winded conversations with vendors or villagers.

Skip the lengthy story setups and dive straight into the fray. If you’re itching to start slicing through hordes of enemies, Dungeon Boss: Respawned is calling your name.

What’s Dungeon Boss: Respawned All About?

Dungeon Boss: Respawned is a fast-paced, turn-based action-RPG that focuses on delivering pure, unadulterated monster-slaying mayhem. The combat is swift and intense, set in vibrant, bite-sized dungeons filled with mythical monsters eager to meet your sharp blades and powerful spells. After mowing down a few groups of these colorful creeps, you’ll face a boss that makes the previous foes look like mere training dummies.

Defeat the level’s big bad, and you’ll be showered with loot. Instead of a measly pile of gold, Dungeon Boss: Respawned rewards your victory with a hulking treasure chest that bursts open to spill an obscene amount of shiny riches right where your enemy fell.

As the dungeons get larger, the bosses more formidable, and the rewards even greater, this endlessly satisfying gameplay loop keeps you hooked. Piling up corpses and treasure, you’ll also grow more powerful through unlocks, upgrades, and other character-shaping features inspired by classic RPGs.

Ready to recruit? Jump into Dungeon Boss: Respawned and let the dungeon-crawling frenzy begin!

A dungeon-crawler with depth

Dungeon Boss: Respawned’s unwavering focus on fast-paced fun doesn’t come at the cost of depth or strategy. On the contrary, its swift approach to pleasing genre fans is packed with nuance that complements its peppy, dungeon-diving action.

All those aforementioned rewards, for example, are invested to grow and enhance your party of arrow-slinging, blade-brandishing, spell-casting heroes. By conquering levels and smartly leveraging your accrued gold and gems, you can continuously unlock and upgrade warriors, each of whom sport unique stats informing their passive and active attributes.

Additionally, protagonists possess basic attacks and special abilities, both of which can significantly evolve with proper resource management. Characters also level up, while their skills can be enhanced, and entirely new abilities are acquired to beef up their arsenals.

Your roster of adventures blossoms as well, allowing you to pick and choose the best members for your current party. You might begin with familiar fantasy staples –– such as knights, mages, and archers –– but it won’t be long before a fire-spewing lion or tank-y reptile is recruited into your ranks. So while the action rarely lets up, you’ll still find ample time to build and customize your courageous crew between clearing quests.

Even more monster-mashing modes

Dungeon Boss: Respawned’s gratifying gameplay and intoxicating cadence will likely find you conquering dungeons one after another, blowing through both its campaign and character-based story missions. But if you’re craving a breather from its core formula, you can also pop into its other, equally engaging modes.

The “My Dungeon” multiplayer mode, for example, makes you the fortress boss, as you select a party of defenders to protect your dungeon from live players looking to invade your base and plunder your loot. Conversely, you can play this mode as the attacker, potentially adding to your own coffers by raiding an opponent’s stronghold.

The game’s “Tower of Pwnage” challenge further ups the ante, tasking more seasoned adventurers with ascending a structure built of increasingly difficult floors. Those looking to dig deeper into Dungeon Boss: Respawned’s more strategic side will want to consider risking this arduous climb.
