The world of professional tennis is in transition. As a handful of the legends who’ve held our attention (and a whole lot of trophies) begin to consider retirement, a new generation of tennis stars is on the rise. Break Point, a docuseries from the team behind Formula 1: Drive to Survive, captured this changing of the guard and showcased the sheer volume of blood, sweat, and smashed rackets that goes into being the best of the best. Now, the series is back for its second season, following some returning favorites from Season 1 as well as a new crop of pro tennis talent.

Which players are featured in Break Point?

Season 1 of the series offered unprecedented access to some of the biggest names in tennis, taking a behind-the-scenes look at their lives both on and off the court. Season 2 follows a group of top tennis players (some returning from Season 1) as they compete in grueling Grand Slams and tournaments all over the world, all with the dream of becoming No. 1 — including all the emotional heartbreak and triumph along the way.

The second season of the series focuses on players Carlos Alcaraz, Matteo Berrettini, Taylor Fritz, Coco Gauff, Anett Kontaveit, Nick Kyrgios, Daniil Medvedev, Tommy Paul, Jess Pegula, Holger Rune, Aryna Sabalenka, Maria Sakkari, Ben Shelton, Frances Tiafoe, Ajla Tomljanović, and Alexander Zverev.

Break Point is produced by Box to Box Films, with executive producers Paul Martin, James Gay-Rees, and Warren Smith. Season 2 premieres on Jan. 10. Watch Break Point Season 1 here.
