What happens in Blindspot?

A large duffel bag turns up in the middle of Times Square, giving pause to a police officer standing nearby. He asks the passersby if it belongs to any of them, but the sea of tourists ambling through the area seem not to hear him, or care. As the officer cautiously leans over to get a better look, he sees a tag hanging off the side. It reads “Call the FBI.” When the bomb squad arrives, they confirm there’s no bomb involved. Instead, what’s inside is a fully conscious woman (Alexander), naked and covered in tattoos. How did she get here, and who is she? The woman, referred to as Jane Doe, has no idea: She’s suffering from amnesia. The man responsible for finding the answers is Agent Weller (Stapleton), who’s immediately called to the scene. Little does he know that Jane Doe’s tattoos are a guide to the mystery that led to her ending up in Times Square, and some of her ink involves him.
