For the first time in seven years, Ariana Grande is going on tour. Grande announced on Instagram that, beginning in June 2026, she’ll embark on a tour in support of her last album, eternal sunshine, which was released in 2024. The tour will begin in Oakland, California, and will travel throughout the US, Canada, and England.
The pop star has stayed busy in the past years, with hit singles like “Yes, And?” dominating the charts. She also made her return to acting as Glinda in the movie adaptation of Wicked. Grande’s last tour was 2019’s Sweetener, and you can relive it by watching ariana grande: excuse me, i love you. Directed by Paul Dugdale (Adele: One Night Only), the 2020 Netflix documentary follows Grande on her world tour, mixing concert and behind-the-scenes footage.

The music documentary follows Ariana Grande on her Sweetener world tour, which began in March 2019 and ended in December 2019. It begins with Grande and her frequent creative collaborators, dancers, and former manager, Scooter Braun, starting the tour in Albany, New York.
Anchored by concert footage from Grande’s stop in London, the doc also shows Grande rehearsing choreography, styling her famous ponytail, and meeting fans. There’s also an inside look at Grande’s life, including a bit of TMI about her very cute dogs, and glimpses of the star singing show tunes and talking with her mother, Joan.

Grande tours both her fourth studio album, Sweetener, and fifth studio album Thank U, Next, which were released in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Her set list included the singles “No Tears Left to Cry” and “7 Rings.” The Sweetener tour in 2019 was the last time that Grande went on tour.
The documentary shows Grande on the Sweetener tour around the world, with the concert footage taking place in London at the O2 Arena.
