Still catching your breath from that 365 Days: This Day ending? Same. Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) has been put through the ringer in the steamy Polish film series. From being kidnapped by her mob boss turned husband to surviving a violent attack, she can’t seem to catch a break. Thankfully, fans will soon learn the fate of Laura and Massimo (Michele Morrone) in the next installment, The Next 365 Days.

After being snatched by mob leader Massimo in the first film, 365 Days, Anna is locked up and given exactly one year to fall in love with her captor. She’s reluctant at first, but as they spend time together, the pair grow even closer and eventually get married. Of course, there’s trouble in paradise in the second film when Laura suspects her husband of cheating with his ex-girlfriend Anna (Natasza Urbanska) and begins an affair with Nacho (Simone Sussina), the gardener, who’s actually the heir to the rival mob. 

When we last saw the couple, they were caught in the middle of a shootout between Nacho and Anna, leaving fans in the dark about Laura’s survival after being shot. You won’t have to wait an entire year to find out what happens next, because The Next 365 Days drops Aug. 19.
