How do you save a business that’s already failed? In Blockbuster, a sitcom from writer-producer Vanessa Ramos (SuperstoreBrooklyn Nine-Nine), one video rental store in Michigan must survive despite being the last Blockbuster on the face of the Earth. WandaVision actor Randall Park stars as a store manager who is forced to find new and innovative ways to drum up membership and keep the store thriving — without help from the defunct Blockbuster corporation.

Randall Park

Timmy

Timmy, the store manager, can deliver recommendations and quotes from his favorite films to anyone at any time. He’s never really graduated from his teenage mentality, living in the past when he and his best friend, Percy, were high school royalty. With Blockbuster’s closure imminent and his livelihood on the line, Timmy must finally face adulthood.

Writer, actor and comedian Randall Park is best known for his roles on the series WandaVision and Fresh Off the Boat. Most recently, he starred in the series Young Rock and Human Resources.

Melissa Fumero

Eliza

Eliza is second-in-command at Blockbuster. She worked there one summer as a teen, then left to go to Harvard — but after quitting school to raise her daughter, she’s back. Eliza isn’t stoked about working a job she feels way overqualified for just to afford her studio apartment, but she’s making the best of it.

Melissa Fumero is best known for playing Amy Santiago on the comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Previously, Fumero had a long-recurring role on the soap opera One Life to Live.

Naive Hannah is a big sweetheart and the most optimistic of the Blockbuster bunch. What she lacks in worldliness, she makes up for in kindness, assisting her co-worker and friend Carlos with his TikToks.

Madeleine Arthur is a Canadian actor who stars in the Netflix drama series Devil in Ohio. She was also featured in the Netflix rom-com To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.
