[dramatic music playing] It's been a lifelong dream of mine to climb a skyscraper. So I'm gonna be free-soloing Taipei 101, one of the tallest buildings in the world. No ropes, no gear, just me and the building.

[Alex breathing heavily] I think I've gotten used to fear over the years. It's an ever-present part of climbing. No matter how much you prepare, occasionally things just happen. If you fall … you're going to die.

[woman] People question soloing now that he's a dad, but this is who Alex is. 

[Alex ] I have to fully focus on the task at hand and execute well. It will be the biggest urban free solo climb ever.
