Netflix is once again gathering the biggest stand-up acts around the world in one city to take the art of making jokes extremely seriously. With 400+ shows across 35+ venues, fans can experience 12 days of comedy — from the foul and flagrant to the silly and surreal. So what (or whom) can you expect to laugh at? Well, the lineup is a veritable who’s who (and, wait, who is that again?) of comedy — not all of them can be Chris Rock, OK? Yes, he will be in attendance, headlining alongside legends like Ali Wong, Kevin Hart, Wanda Sykes, David Letterman, Chelsea Handler, Maya Rudolph, Tim Robinson, and Tom Brady. Netflix is a Joke Fest is the biggest comedy festival in North America, and it’s back and bigger than ever! Produced by Netflix in association with Live Nation, the star-studded celebration of comedy will feature over 400+ live stand-up shows, special events, table reads, sketches, and more with the best comedians and artists in the world. For 12 days, the comedy community will take over more than 35 of Los Angeles’ most beloved landmarks, such as Hollywood Bowl, the Greek, the Dolby, the Forum, the Palladium, Orpheum Theatre, and the Wiltern, as well as historic comedy venues, including the Hollywood Improv, Largo, Laugh Factory, and The Comedy Store.
Netflix is a Joke Fest will take place from May 2 to May 12.

Once you’ve made your way out to the festival, you’ll want to head over to the historic Egyptian Theatre for a curated selection of comedies, rom-coms, cult classics, and live shows programmed as part of NIAJ Fest. The theater will be screening some of your favorites and will host anniversary events for This Is Spinal Tap, Purple Rain, American Pie, and many more.
