Bundle up, because things are about to get a bit hairy in the Alps.
Chris Pine, Iona Bell, Ray Winstone, and Sofia Boutella will star in Yeti, the upcoming Netflix survival thriller directed by Michael Chaves, known for The Curse of La Llorona, The Nun, and the Conjuring franchise. Production on the film has begun in Budapest, Hungary.
Written by Peter Gaffney and Sean Tretta, Yeti follows a father and daughter stranded in the Alps after an avalanche uncovers something primeval from the glacial ice. With no hope of rescue, the pair must fight to survive against a merciless predator that blends in with the snow.
Rounding out the ensemble cast are Bill Milner, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Géza Röhrig, Christian Ochoa Lavernia, Ansu Kabia, and Amr Waked.
Yeti is produced by Erik Feig and Jessica Switch for PictureStart alongside Dan Kagan, with Hans Ritter and Pine serving as executive producers.
