Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz stars in the new show Vladimir as a literary academic who’s stuck in a personal and professional slump. Frustrated by her complicated relationship with her husband (John Slattery), she soon becomes obsessed with a handsome new colleague (Leo Woodall). Julia May Jonas adapted the series from her book of the same name.
Also available to stream this week: the crime thriller Casino, featuring an Oscar-nominated performance by Sharon Stone; the Ray Charles biopic Ray, led by Jamie Foxx’s Oscar-winning portrayal of the music legend; and the horror classic Misery, starring Kathy Bates in an Oscar-winning turn.
And don’t miss The Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA, in which the stars of the year’s biggest films and series will gather to recognize the work of their peers. For a third time, Nobody Wants This star Kristen Bell hosts the live event, which will also honor Harrison Ford with the Life Achievement Award.
