The money and the paranoia pile up in The Rip, which took No. 1 on the English film list last week with 41.6 million views, the biggest film opening since Happy Gilmore 2. In this dirty-cop thriller, suspicion falls on everyone as Lieutenant Dane Dumars (Matt Damon) and Detective Sergeant J.D. Byrne (Ben Affleck) lead a Tactical Narcotics Team following up on a tip about a cartel stash house. The rip — a term for when cops seize criminal assets — is $20 million, and every dollar must be counted before they can leave the house, allowing time for mistrust to grow within the team.

Mistrust was the theme of the week, as viewers put the murder-mystery thriller His & Hers at No. 1 on the English TV list with 29.5 million views. Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal are an estranged wife and husband clashing over a murder case in their small Georgia town. She’s there to report on the crime, and he’s trying to investigate it, but each believes the other to be hiding their real interest — and involvement — in the murder.

For some classic mystery vibes, viewers turned to Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials, sending the new series to No. 2 on the list with 9.9 million views. Set in 1925 at a lavish country house party, a guest is found dead, and his friend Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent (Mia McKenna-Bruce) suspects foul play, taking charge to investigate, while an ever-growing list of suspects adds to the increasingly enigmatic case.

At No. 2 on the English film list with 23.3 million views is the romantic comedy People We Meet on Vacation, which continues to charm with its tale of two unlikely friends, uninhibited Poppy (Emily Bader) and restrained Alex (Tom Blyth). They take yearly summer vacations together until bubbling feelings complicate their relationship and push them to consider what they truly want from each other. The film’s success has led to increased interest in the original book, which saw a 515% surge in audiobook listens on Spotify and climbed up the New York Times bestseller list to No. 8.

Stranger Things 5 continues to prove its cultural impact as it moved up to No. 4 on the Most Popular English TV list with 120.1 million total views. The final season also took No. 4 on the English TV list with 5.1 million views. Fans now get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the epic conclusion to a generation-defining series in the new documentary film One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5, which made its way to No. 3 on the English film list with 8.7 million views. It follows the Duffer Brothers, cast, and crew as they share stories and allow an intimate look at the technically challenging and highly emotional production. The first four seasons of Stranger Things remain in the Top 10 as well: Season 1 (No. 7 with 2.8 million views), Season 2 (No. 9 with 2.7 million views), Season 3 (No. 6 with 3 million views), and Season 4 (No. 5 with 3.1 million views).
