Too Hot to Handle boldly dares to ask the question: Will hot people keep their hands to themselves if there’s money on the line? It also boldly dares to answer it: No!

The sexiest show on Netflix (sorry, Sex/Life and Bridgerton) is back, with all 10 episodes of Season 3 dropping Jan. 19. And the singles have once again been duped into participating in this chaste challenge. But this time, Lana’s increased the prize fund to $200,000 — which could just mean more breaches of her precious rules. 

“Can our wildest-ever batch of singles be tamed?” narrator Desiree Burch asks. “Or are they just too hot to handle?” We’re not so sure — we’ve counted at least eight makeouts in this trailer alone.

Too Hot to Handle first premiered in 2020, to the delight of fans internationally. The show’s premise is simple: Singles are promised a summer of fun but are instead greeted with rules prohibiting any sexual contact, lest they lose money from a communal prize pot. Under the watchful eye of robot enforcer Lana, the fund has previously dwindled to as low as $30,000, down from an original total of $100,000. So just how low will it get when there’s double the money on the line?

In Season 3, there do seem to be some genuine connections forming between the contestants — one mentions that she’s falling in love, and another even serenades a contestant by promising he’ll massage her feet every night. So we’ll just have to hope there’s another Cam and Emily in this group. We’ll see when the season premieres later this month, but in the meantime, watch the trailer below:
