The film version will feature the same gorgeous gowns and Hollywood intrigue as the novel, in the capable hands of Headland (who previously directed 2015’s acidic Sleeping with Other People). Headland will direct a script written by Liz Tigelaar (Little Fires Everywhere, Casual). And don’t worry, book readers: Author Jenkins Reid (who also penned the bestselling novel Daisy Jones & the Six) will executive produce the adaptation.
There’s no word yet as to who will inhabit the roles of Evelyn Hugo, Monique Grant and the novel’s titular seven husbands.
