In Season 1 of The Imperfects, Morgan Taylor Campbell, Rhianna Jagpal and Iñaki Godoy star as patients who undergo an experimental gene therapy as teenagers and later exhibit disturbing powers. When their lives are upended, Tilda, Abby and Juan seek out the scientists who conducted the experiment, hoping to rid themselves of their strange new abilities. And parents, this show has plenty of blood and gore, so it’s probably not one to watch with the kids.

Italia Ricci

Dr. Sydney Burke

Canadian actor Ricci plays Dr. Sydney Burke, a geneticist helping Tilda, Abbi and Juan manage their emergent superpowers. While searching for a cure, Dr. Burke remains at odds with her former colleague, Dr. Alex Sarkov, over his lack of ethics.

Ricci starred as Emily Rhodes in Netflix’s political drama Designated Survivor and April Carver in ABC Family’s Chasing Life. She also appeared as Siobhan Smythe/Silver Banshee on the superhero action series Supergirl.
