We finally learn who was behind the Episode 2 murders, and in this case, killing is a family affair. Benny Boomboom and his two sons, Andrew and Laurence, were responsible, but catching them is no easy task. The Boombooms can telepathically manipulate iron, including the Steel Balls, and are fiercely determined to eliminate Johnny and Gyro from the competition.
The Boombooms acquired their metal-bending abilities from the Devil’s Palm, an area in the Arizona Desert feared by Native Americans. But as the family watches Mountain Tim close in, they realize that they weren’t the only ones affected by the supernatural hotspot.
