Just when we thought the Steel Ball Run race couldn’t get more dangerous, in comes a killer twist: There’s been a murder, and the culprit is on the loose. The day before 2nd STAGE is set to begin, the sheriff reveals to race organizer Steven Steel that a brutal crime has occurred, leaving behind three dead bodies. The only clue? A set of horseshoe tracks. The sheriff deputizes a jockey named Mountain Tim, a man Johnny Joestar describes as “a legendary cowboy forged in the crucible of the West,” to track down whoever’s responsible and bring them to justice.
But as you’ll see in the post-credits stinger, there are plenty of racers with an axe to grind, and Mountain Tim will have to act fast if he wants any chance at sniffing out the true murderer before the trail goes cold.
