The Royalteen cast is here to crown their next sequel — and we’re ready to relive all of the gossip and scandal of the original film over again.

Premiering last August, the first film follows Lena (Ines Høysæter Asserson), a new student hoping to start fresh from her scandal-ridden past. Things seemed to be on the upswing after falling in love with the crown prince, Kalle (Mathias Storhøi), but a buried secret threatens to jeopardize her royal relationship.

While some secrets are revealed at the end of Roytalteen, the Norwegian film left viewers with more questions than answers. Lena might’ve come clean about her real identity, but other characters didn’t get the same happy ending. With a sequel on the way, we’ll hopefully learn more about Princess Margrethe’s condition after collapsing at prom, as well as find out who leaked that viral photo of Kalle. 

Hold onto your crowns because more scandals are on the way when the Royalteen sequel premieres in 2023.
