Rosario (de Regil) risked her life to save innocent people from a bomb, and her sacrifice leaves her dead … or so we’re led to believe. But as Season 4 opens, we see that Rosario is very much alive and, after hearing news that the adoptive parents of her daughter, Ruby (Acuña), were brutally murdered, Rosario heads out on a desperate search to find Ruby at all costs. By the time Rosario finds her, Ruby is living at a shelter. When the two finally reunite, Ruby wants nothing to do with her biological mom. But as Ruby falls down a dark path, getting closer to a dangerous criminal named El Papi (Peña), Rosario makes it her mission to keep her daughter safe.
