Cowabunga! Continuing the tale from the hit Nickelodeon series, Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Donatello are back in action and back up to their teenage antics in Rise of the TMNT: The Movie. This time, however, the stakes are higher than ever before. In this new trailer, the Turtles are enjoying their brotherly misadventures when a stranger named Casey Jones arrives from the future with a warning: The Krang, the most dangerous alien force in the galaxy, is going to invade. Will the reptilian brothers be able to rise up as heroes and stop this impending invasion, or will their teenage foibles get the better of them?
Casey Jones was first introduced in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics as a sports equipment–wielding vigilante and ally to the Turtles. He’ll be voiced by Haley Joel Osment in the upcoming film. “It was such fun getting to be a part of the TMNT universe and joining such an amazing cast,” Osment told Netflix. “I had all the action figures when I was a kid, so it’s pretty surreal to be shredding with the Turtles 30 years later. Looking forward to fans seeing the movie!” Tighten those hachimaki bandanas, because what’s about to unfold is the most epic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles adventure ever.
