The Byrdes Face Doomsday in ‘Ozark’ Season 4, Part 2 Trailer

Marty (Jason Bateman), Wendy (Laura Linney) and the rest of the Byrde family are at the beginning of their last chance.

The Ozark Season 4, Part 2 trailer dropped today, and in it, we get an extensive glimpse at Marty and Wendy’s efforts to escape a Mexican drug cartel and the feds. They’ve been trying to do that since the start of the show almost five years ago, but the first part of Season 4 saw them make some serious headway — only to see a lot of it potentially blown away with the pull of a trigger.

Spoilers ahead. Stop here if you don’t wanna get cussed out by Ruth — or read details about what happened in Part 1.

At the end of Part 1, Omar Navarro’s (Felix Solis) ruthless nephew Javi Elizonndro (Alfonso Herrera) shoots and kills Wyatt Langmore (Charlie Tahan) and his new wife, Darlene, a short while after their wedding ceremony. After discovering their dead bodies, Ruth goes nuclear, and it looks as if nothing will stop her from exacting revenge. Of course, this means that Marty and Wendy’s potential deal with the FBI — one that would ensure their escape from the cartel and significant legal consequences — is in serious jeopardy.

Ozark Part 2 Trailer Debut

After facing countless life-or-death situations, can Marty and Wendy survive one more? You can see for yourself when Ozark Season 4, Part 2 premieres April 29. For now, check out the trailer below.
