What happens when six Pogues wash ashore on a desert island? Find out now with the first nine minutes of Outer Banks Season 3.
Although the new season of the adventure drama doesn’t premiere until Feb. 23, attendees of the Outer Banks fan experience event, Poguelandia, got a sneak peek of Season 3 this past weekend — and now you can, too.
When we last saw John B (Chase Stokes) and co. at the end of Season 2, they had narrowly escaped a cargo ship with their lives and made it to a nearby shore. Despite losing their treasure to their nemeses the Camerons, it seemed like they had struck gold, washing up on this idyllic island far from home — and parental supervision.

In these first nine minutes, we finally catch up with the Pogues as they set up camp in their new home, which they’ve dubbed Poguelandia. John B is helping Sarah (Madelyn Cline) overcome the trauma inflicted on her by her father, Ward (Charles Esten), and Pope (Jonathan Daviss) and Cleo (Carlacia Grant) share some time alone in the jungle while JJ (Rudy Pankow) teaches Kiara (Madison Bailey) how to hunt skate fish. Living a carefree life feels possible. From cliff jumping to swimming in the ocean, Poguelandia offers the group some much-needed respite from the high-stakes danger that they’re used to.
Ready to join the crew and become a Pogue for life? Stream Outer Banks Season 3 when it drops on Feb. 23. In the meantime, get your best Pogue attire ready for more adventures and relive the Poguelandia event from this weekend.
