Things are about to get romantic for Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron and Joey King. The three stars are set to lead an upcoming movie about a “surprising romance [that] kicks off comic consequences for a young woman, her mother and her movie star boss as they face the complications of love, sex and identity.”
Though details still remain under wraps, the as-yet-untitled film has some pretty impeccable rom-com credentials. For one thing, it will be helmed by P.S. I Love You and The Last Five Years’ director Richard LaGravenese, who co-wrote the script with Carrie Solomon. King, of course, led her own rom-com trilogy, The Kissing Booth, alongside Jacob Elordi. Efron —who, we remind you, is now old enough to play dads — is the one and only Troy Bolton of High School Musical fame, while Kidman basically invented beauty, truth and love with Moulin Rouge. As for chemistry, well, who could forget Efron and Kidman co-starring in 2012’s The Paperboy? We’re already blushing.
