As a modern philosopher once asked, “Do you believe in life after love?” Whether it’s moving on from an ex or starting a new chapter of your life, we all seek comfort and meaning in pop culture during times of uncertainty. In The Andy Warhol Diaries, the docuseries chronicles the artist’s yearning to be loved artistically and romantically. Clairvoyant medium Tyler Henry poses the question about an afterlife as he communicates with those who’ve passed on in his new series Life After Death with Tyler Henry. If nonfiction isn’t your thing, dive into The Adam Project with Ryan Reynolds as he teams up with dead loved ones through time travel. Spanish musical rom-com Once Upon a Time... Happily Never After also chimes in as two lovers must reincarnate and reunite in another life. Want to see more of this week’s new titles? Keep scrolling for the full list.

The Andy Warhol Diaries - New Releases That Will Make You Believe In Life After Love (After Love)

3/9 The Andy Warhol Diaries What it is: After getting shot by Valerie Solanas in 1968, artist Andy Warhol begins journaling about his feelings around his art, interpersonal relationships and sexuality. While he was a very public figure, there were secrets we didn’t know until after his death through his diaries.

Why you should watch it: On the outside, Warhol presents himself as an asexual eccentric. Through diary excerpts narrated in his voice using AI technology (with the permission of the Andy Warhol Foundation), we learn that the artist was a man who just wanted to be loved. He longed for his art to be taken seriously by other creatives; he also wanted to be desired romantically. A highlight of the series is its look into his relationship with interior designer Jed Johnson. Warhol enjoyed his nights out dancing at Studio 54, while Johnson preferred to be home with the dogs. Their love was doomed from the beginning, but getting an inside look into their relationship — before the HIV/AIDS epidemic and legalization of same-sex marriage — feels like witnessing intimate queer history in the making.

Life After Death with Tyler Henry - New Releases That Will Make You Believe In Life After Love (After Love)

Life After Death with Tyler Henry What it is: Clairvoyant medium Tyler Henry offers clarity and closure from the beyond while searching through his own family’s past in this intimate reality series.

Why you should watch it: Known for his readings with famous celebrities, Henry opens up even more about his own personal life, from being bullied because of his sexuality to falling in love with his partner. However, those aren’t the most personal details he reveals. Three years ago, Henry’s mother found out she was kidnapped as a child and raised by a murderer. While he brings closure to others through readings, Henry also seeks to find out answers about his family’s dark past.

Once Upon a Time... Happily Never After - New Releases That Will Make You Believe In Life After Love (After Love)

Once Upon a Time... Happily Never After What it is: In this Spanish musical rom-com series, two lovers’ fairy tale abruptly ends due to outside forces. They must reunite in another life and break the spell cast on their small town, which prevents people from falling in love. The twist? The arrival of two tourists who will throw the lovers off their course to find each other.

Why you should watch it: What if you put the fairy-tale universe of Shrek into Glee? You’d probably get something like Once Upon a Time... Happily Never After. The show’s mix of fairy-tale tropes with musical numbers creates a colorful, magical and sexy world. Not to mention, Latin pop and reggaeton singer/songwriter Sebastián Yatra takes the lead as the charming commoner Diego. You can’t blame any royal for falling in love with him.

The Adam Project - New Releases That Will Make You Believe In Life After Love (After Love)

The Adam Project What it is: Adam Reed (Ryan Reynolds) is a time-traveling fighter pilot whose past and present collide when he accidentally crash-lands in 2022. Teaming up with his 12-year-old self (Walker Scobell), both Adams embark on a mission to save the future, with the help of their late father (Mark Ruffalo) and late wife (Zoe Saldaña).

Why you should watch it: You’ll want to hug your parents after watching The Adam Project. You know, Cher also once said, “If I could turn back time, if I could find a way...” Like most preteens, young Adam gets a kick out of being a jerk to his mom (Jennifer Garner). As adult Adam looks back on how he treated her, he feels remorse and can’t help but lecture his younger self to show her a little more love and grace. It’s also important to mention that Garner and Ruffalo reunite in another movie about time travel; 13 Going on 30 fans are definitely eating well.
