





The world took the stage in Los Angeles this week at a special event celebrating Netflix’s wide variety of films and series from creators and filmmakers around the globe. The international showcase, led by Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria, presented a lineup of returning hits, including Squid Game and Alice in Borderland, and coming attractions, like an adaptation of Gabriel García Márquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude, which script consultant Maria Camila Arias described at a recent Q&A as “a history of civilization and also of Colombia.” The Next on Netflix: International event also saw the unveiling of some future favorites, including Love Is Blind: France and Physical: 100 Asia, and shined a spotlight on some of the most anticipated films and series from around the world that will hit Netflix in the coming months.
From Korea to Brazil and from Norway to Colombia, these global offerings are sure to be the next must-watch in your queue — take a look at a sampling of the exhilarating, moving, and captivating titles below.

Based on the manga series of the same name by Haro Aso, Alice in Borderland follows the story of Arisu after he is transported to a parallel universe in which he has to play and win games to remain alive. The games are divided into four categories represented by suits on a deck of playing cards. For now, the Joker card has appeared, declaring the triumphant return of Alice in Borderland. Fans can expect nothing short of an adrenaline-fueled roller-coaster ride as the series continues to explore profound themes of humanity, sacrifice, and the pursuit of a meaningful existence.
