Stranger Things Season 4, Volume 1 is breaking through the Upside Down — as well as Netflix streaming records. After premiering last Friday, the long-awaited return of the Duffer brothers’ series has already been watched a total of 286.79 million hours, making it the biggest premiere weekend ever for an English-speaking series. It’s been nearly three years since fans traveled back to Hawkins, Indiana, and they’ve quickly made the show's latest chapter No. 1 in 83 different countries. The first three seasons are also making their way through the multiverse and back into this week’s Global Top 10. Vintage tees and fluffy perms aren’t the only trends Stranger Things is resurrecting from the ’80s. “Running Up That Hill” by Kate Bush hit No. 1 on iTunes over the weekend after its emotional and haunting feature in Episode 4. “Music has a power to reach people, even when they’re in these catatonic states,” Ross Duffer recently told Tudum. “We knew it needed to have a cinematic scope and build to it. But at the same time, it needed to be emotional, and Kate Bush’s lyrics are just so emotional.”

Suspense is also building abroad with Spanish series Wrong Side of the Tracks leading as this week’s most-streamed non-English series. Since premiering its full season on May 20, the show has already been viewed a total of 61.6 million hours. The crime drama follows war veteran Tirso Abantos (José Coronado), who now finds himself in a mundane routine of running a hardware store. When Tirso’s granddaughter gets involved with dangerous local drug dealers, he decides to take matters into his own hands by stepping back into a different kind of war zone.
