If you’ve ever pictured yourself as a real estate mogul with a hotel on Marvin Gardens, three houses on St. James Place, and an Electric Company to your name, have we got a game for you.
Netflix is bringing the world of Monopoly to life in a new competition series in which 12 players will compete for a $2 million prize.* Contestants will be immersed in a life-size Monopoly Town Square where they’ll have the opportunity to earn money, buy properties, negotiate deals, and hopefully stay out of jail. (No word if winning second prize in a beauty contest will still earn $10.) One by one, bankrupt players will be eliminated while others build their empire — until the one person left standing takes it all.
The best part: You can audition to be one of the 12 lucky players in the epic board game by clicking on the banner below.

Monopoly, which premieres in fall 2027, joins a slate of unscripted adaptations of beloved movies and board games, including Wonka’s The Golden Ticket (based on Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), which premieres on Sept. 23. Produced by Studio Lambert (Squid Game: The Challenge, The Circle), Monopoly’s executive producers include Gabriel Marano and Zachary Edwin of Hasbro Entertainment, as well as Studio Lambert’s Nia Yemoh, Tim Harcourt, Jack Burgess, Stephen Lambert, and Kim Murphy.
*A get-out-of-jail-free card is not included with the $2 million prize pot.
