The Money Heist (La casa de papel) gang might’ve pulled off their heist at last, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the story. Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine — created by Money Heist’s Álex Pina and his Sky Rojo collaborator, Esther Martínez Lobato — centers on the character Berlin (Pedro Alonso), long before he takes the Royal Mint of Spain hostage. Following 2023’s Berlin, the new series stars Alonso, Julio Peña Fernández, and Begoña Vargas.
“It’s a trip through the golden age of the character, when he robbed around Europe crazy in love,” Pina tells Netflix.
The action in Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine has moved away from Paris to Spain, and it features all your favorite characters as well as some brand-new faces.
Below, find out everything there is to know about the upcoming series, premiering May 15, and get a little refresher on everything that’s already gone down.

Berlin says there are only two things that can turn a bad day into a great one: love and a million-dollar payday. It’s what keeps him laser-focused on his lofty goals. So, in Berlin, he’s preparing an extreme heist — disappearing $44 million worth of jewels. Berlin and a masterful gang gather in Paris to hatch one of the most ambitious robberies ever. Their plan? To steal 63 royal jewels from 34 cities … all in one glorious afternoon.
