There was never a dull moment in Love Is Blind: UK Season 3 — no boring dates here, right, Ciara?
This season, 30 single men and women from across the United Kingdom made their way through countless pod dates in the hope of falling in love sight unseen. By the time the pods closed, six engaged couples emerged, and only four — Sophie and Taylor, Ciara and Ajay, Faye and Jack, and Francesca and Joseph — made it to the altar and said, “I do.”
But saying “I do” doesn’t always mean happily ever after. Hosts Matt and Emma Willis brought the cast back together at the Season 3 reunion to find out who’s still together, who separated, and — for Sophie — “who is the prime minister?” The Ciara–Jack “boring” accusations came to a head; the Joseph–Francesca–Chevanique triangle was addressed for the first time since the mixer; and the two couples who didn’t make it to the altar finally opened up about what went wrong.

From her first pod date with Taylor, Sophie knew she was cooked — and not just because he’s an amazing chef, while she tends to live off jacket potatoes. Their flirty spark turned into a flame as they began planning their future together and then tied the knot in the finale. Nearly a year after their wedding, Taylor and Sophie are still happily married.
The couple credit their unusually fast connection to a shared history — each came into the pods straight out of a seven-year relationship. “We both lived with our partners,” Taylor says. “It wasn’t new to [either of] us. We just both knew we were ready for the next step, which probably made the experience a lot easier for us compared to other couples.”
On their wedding day, Sophie’s father was “gutted” over his daughter marrying Taylor only six weeks after she met him; he went so far as to say the ceremony was farcical. “It was upsetting watching it back,” Sophie says at the reunion, but her father’s opinion never swayed her away from the altar.
Taylor’s approach to winning over his father-in-law was simple. “All I had to do is take him down to the pub, have a few beers together, watch a bit of football, and we’re looking good,” he says. Sophie’s dad wasn’t at the reunion, but he sent in a video message directed at Taylor. “Taylor, from me to you, you have put the biggest smile on my daughter’s face and that is all I could wish for, so, pal, thank you so much,” he said, concluding with an invite to go out for another pint.
Since Taylor and Sophie each hail from different parts of England, they needed to choose where they’d live together. After the wedding, a redundancy notice sent Sophie south instead of Taylor north. Now the two live about 15 minutes away from his sister and nephews. “From day one, they’ve always called me Auntie Sophie. Nothing else,” she says. “They’re so cute.”
Taylor’s dad was in the audience at the reunion, and confirmed that Sophie has been settling in nicely with the family. “I think the first time I met her I called her a little treacle,” he says, referring to Cockney slang for sweetheart. “She’s loving, she’s caring, and she’s just genuine. She makes my son smile.”
Mr. “I-can-go-10-times” Taylor got a bit of a roast at the reunion for his confidence in the bedroom, but the couple confirmed everything’s still going well in that department. As for what’s next, they say a house eventually, kids further down the line, and — after almost a year of having to lie about how they actually met — the freedom to just be a normal couple in public. “Our story was, we met up in Manchester on a night out, and that’s far from the truth,” Sophie says. “It’d just be nice to just be able to breathe and post.”
Ciara says she was confident in Ajay’s answer before she walked down the aisle — especially with the help of a little jewelry. The morning of their wedding, Ciara found a box on the table in her dressing room with a bracelet. “I thought, ‘He’s probably not going to spend that amount of money on this if he wasn’t going to say yes,’” Ciara says. Ajay confirms the gift was intentional. “I went in there already knowing my decision,” he says. “And to give Ciara a bit of peace of mind, I was like, here’s something just to let you know how I’m feeling this morning.”
Ciara entered the pods looking for someone to invest in her — as she proudly stated, a man once spent 15,000 pounds on their first date, so yeah, the bar was high. Luckily, Ajay, an ex-investment banker, recognized her worth right away.
Looking back, Ciara admits she entered the experiment with some trust issues. But Ajay made it easy to let her guard down. “Even in the pods, I felt so safe with Ajay,” she says. “I think it was the first time I was dating a secure man.” The relationship hit a speed bump once they moved in together, however, and their first big fight led to their first night apart. “That night we had apart actually did us wonders and put everything into perspective,” Ciara says. “It made me realize that I definitely don’t want to live without him and how much I love him and that I can’t act like that.” The argument was a massive turning point for the couple, and gave them the confidence to say “I do” at the altar.
The newlyweds spent six months in Melbourne, Australia, but it wasn’t all a walk on the beach. “We ended up in a bit of a sticky situation with our accommodations,” Ajay says. He was willing to empty the rest of his savings to get out of the place, but he says Ciara took it in stride. “She never complained once. She’s actually been the even-keeled person who brought us back together.”
They moved back to the UK in time for Ciara’s 30th birthday, settling into her apartment in southwest London. (Yes, Ajay fits.) “We’ve had a crazy year, moved to the other side of the world, came back, did all these fun and adventurous things whilst also building a life together,” Ajay says. At the reunion, Ajay expanded on how he watched Ciara open up this past year. “The most beautiful thing I’ve seen in my wife is just how much she felt at ease and I got to see her personality really shine,” Ajay says. “She’s made my life so easy. She’s been the most incredible wife I could ever ask for and that’s a testament entirely to Ciara.”
The lovebirds say they still have so much to look forward to, like eventually throwing “a massive Indian wedding.” The plan is to do a traditional weeklong Sikh ceremony with hundreds of guests who couldn’t make it the first time. “My ideal [wedding] date would be on our anniversary, but we’ll see,” Ciara says.
“I have a very specific point in my mind when I knew Faye was the one,” Jack says, thinking back to a late-night pod date. “I’m the one who brings the energy, and I got out-energized on that date. She kicked the door off the hinges. My cheeks were hurting from laughing so much.”
A year after saying “I do,” Faye and Jack haven’t exactly settled down in the traditional sense. In fact, they’ve been everywhere but settled in one place — from celebrating Christmas in the Maldives to adventuring through Thailand.
“That’s probably the closest I’ve come to divorcing Faye,” Jack jokes. “We’re driving through the Patong traffic on a moped with her on the back, trying to steer me by pulling my shirt and pinching me. I thought we were going to die.”
Apart from the near-death experience, the extended honeymoon was a success. “When you think about it, I actually barely knew Jack when I said yes at the altar,” Faye says. “We were still slightly strangers.” Traveling together, sharing both good times and bad, bonded them. “I felt like I knew her inside and out, but we still just had so much to find out about each other,” Jack says. “It was like a speed hack.”
Since returning to the UK, the newlyweds have been living with Faye’s parents in Guernsey. And yes, all has been forgiven when it comes to the morning Jack disappeared. When Faye’s parents paid them a visit before the wedding, they were initially disappointed because of the doubts that Jack’s nighttime trek raised for Faye, but the debacle is now firmly in the past. “In letting them down at the very start, I realized I had rebuilding to do,” Jack says. “Our relationship as a family is really good now. I like to think that every day I show up for Faye as a husband should.”
Faye’s parents were in the audience at the reunion and agreed with his progress. “He had a hell of a lot of work to do after that night,” her dad said. “It’s been a whirlwind of a few months since Jack came to Guernsey, but we’ve enjoyed it.”
Knowing Jack as well as she does now, and with a better understanding of his ADHD, Faye says she can tell when he’s overwhelmed and needs a minute for himself. “I know that Jack’s not perfect,” she says. “None of us are. I mean, I’ve got my own flaws that I'm working on. We all do. But if someone is genuinely willing to try and better themselves, then that’s all I can ask for.”
“It’s been a roller coaster,” Joseph shares at the reunion. “There have been some ups and some lows, but most importantly, we still choose each other.”
On the morning of their wedding, the couple still hadn’t received approval from Francesca’s parents. Joseph understood that they were concerned he and Fran were rushing into marriage. “What was racing through my head in the final moments was just, ‘I know how important it is for me and Francesca to receive that recognition,’” he says. Just before Francesca walked down the aisle, Joseph sat down with her mom and got her blessing in the nick of time. “Luckily, the lovely Janet wanted to have a little chat.”
Now they enjoy family dinners with Francesca’s parents and regularly spend time with Joseph’s brother and sister-in-law. “We meshed so easily together,” she says.
At the reunion, Fran’s parents confirm that they’re “very happy” they gave their blessing. “It’s been lovely getting to know Joseph. He’s a very impressive young man,” Janet says. “He puts her first every day. We love him, and he’s our son.” She also appreciates how his height can come in handy when reaching for high objects.
According to Fran, Joseph has officially met the gold standard set by her dad. “He’s cleared the bar,” she says of her new husband. “He’s exceeded expectations, actually.” Their first year of marriage has been “very, very sweet,” with Joseph doing little things around the house to make Fran feel loved, like checking the weather before she goes to work the next day. “If it’s raining, he’ll put out an umbrella,” she says. “My appliances are always charged. My water bottle’s always filled. He does a lot for me, and my dad can now rest.”
But it wasn’t always smooth sailing. At Faye’s birthday party, Joseph’s pod connection, Chevanique, didn’t totally agree about how their second-to-last date left off. “My intention wasn’t to come in there and start drama,” Chevanique clarifies at the reunion. “What I wanted was just to clear the air.”
“I always made it apparent that Francesca was a priority,” Joseph tells Tudum, adding that he doesn’t consider it a love triangle. “I didn’t want to say that this person was my No. 1, but at that moment in time, I kind of made a decision. It just extended a little bit more.”
Francesca says she and Chevanique have spoken since the show wrapped, and things are settled — with one caveat. “My problem at the mixer was more just the comments that were made at the table, and I just thought it was unnecessary,” Francesca says. “[Chevanique is] a beautiful woman, and she carried herself really well in the pods. We’re not going to be best friends, but I think it’s nice that we can be cordial and there’s no bad blood at all.”
Looking ahead, Francesca and Joseph are looking forward to remarrying in the Catholic faith, as well as throwing a traditional Nigerian wedding. “It really has only just been a year,” Joseph says. “Still so many more experiences that we want to have.”
“I didn’t expect to meet someone like Cuba here,” Ryan says. Their lifestyles and beliefs seemed to entirely align — they discussed the desire to raise free-range chickens and children in the future. Cuba appreciated how they just “gelled,” compared to her exes who, she felt, judged her “woo-woo” opinions.
Soon after moving in together, Ryan’s work took him abroad — a lot. Even when Ryan returned from his trips, he’d disappear for hours in the morning. Cuba buried her emotions in order to be there for him but wondered if he’d ever be able to be selfless and fully let her in. “I was there for him all the time,” she says. “It was always about Ryan.”
Ryan says he found it harder and harder to transition back into “the Love Is Blind bubble” every time he returned from a trip. “Through work, I got the experience of leaving that bubble a couple of times,” he says. “When I came back in, that’s when I would start to ruminate in my mind and body. I knew it was time to leave, to have space to know what it is I actually want.”
The stars haven’t aligned since filming wrapped. “The way it ended wasn’t nice for me,” Cuba says at the reunion, turning to Ryan. “You completely blindsided me. Everything I did, I did for you. You needed a whole day for yourself after a half an hour speech,” she says. Cuba brings up Joseph, who’d started a new job. “And yet Fran knew that he cared for her because he was so intentional.” She went on to say she’s never felt more alone in her whole life — “and I’ve been cheated on.”
Ryan confirms to Tudum there’s no plan to get back together outside the experiment. “I figured out in my body how I’m actually feeling now that the dust is settled,” he says. “It’s not something I want to move forward with.” For now, he’s happy to be alone with his mango snacks.
Cuba’s approach to dating is now completely different. “Just because they tick off the spiritual box doesn’t mean they’re my person,” she says. “They just have to be kind and open and nonjudgmental. I think because I went in there with that mindset, I maybe missed the red flags with Ryan.” At the reunion, she said even more succinctly, “I’m open to love, but I’m not looking. It can seek me.”
At the start of the experiment, Yasmin thought her connection with Jordan was maktub — the Arabic word for “meant to be.” She wanted to be in a partnership where they encouraged each other to be better people, so when Jordan told Yasmin she inspired him, she knew it was end game. “I remember just so vividly finishing the date and walking into the lounge, and I sat on the floor and I put both my hands on the floor, and I said, “That is him. That’s my man.”
In Ibiza, Yasmin was aware that they were taking things a bit slower than the other couples, but watching the show back made it clear it wasn’t just a lack of PDA. “Jordan and I, we just weren’t there,” she says. “Both Jordan and I deserve to find people who make us feel like what I’m seeing in the other couples.”
Jordan also found himself comparing their relationship to everyone else’s. “That’s when I had to look inside and be honest with myself,” he says. “I don’t have that firing chemistry that I’ve got that I need for a marriage. And I don’t think right now we’re going to get there.”
Yasmin likes to joke that Faye’s birthday was the beginning of the end. “I just had this gut feeling that he wasn’t all in,” she says. “And that feeling was getting stronger and stronger, and I just think it came to a head in that last conversation we had.”
Jordan and Yasmin have transitioned into a close friendship since filming ended. “Yas is still one of my best friends to this day,” Jordan says, adding that they talk every day. “We didn’t get married, but I’ve still got her by my side and vice versa.”
At the reunion, Yasmin shared what she’s looking for next in a partner. “I say this, not as a dig at Jordan, but I don’t think I’ll tolerate a relationship where I have to question how my partner feels about me.” In the meantime, Yasmin has been busy enjoying side quests — she traveled to Thailand on her first solo trip, learned how to DJ, and continued to learn Arabic. “I just kind of feel like the world is my oyster, and I think that’s a nice way to feel.”
Weeks after the reunion, Chevanique isn’t holding on to any regrets about her Love Is Blind: UK journey. “I do think everything happened for a reason,” she says. "No one got hurt. There’s no bad blood on my side toward anybody. I wish them the best."
Though she didn’t leave the pods engaged, she learned so much about herself in the process. “I’ve come away wishing that I had been more open and more receptive to finding love,” she says. “That’s something I’ve reflected on a lot since the experiment, and it’s an important part of what I’ve learned about myself.”
Chevanique entered the experiment after ending her first serious relationship. In hindsight, she recognizes how closed off she was in the pods and can now name the pattern clearly. “I do self-sabotage a lot and use humor as a way to keep up my walls, so I don’t give them 100% of myself.” It’s a realization she’s carried long after filming ended. “Opening yourself up emotionally and allowing yourself to be seen can feel incredibly uncomfortable, but it’s also where a lot of the growth happens.”
Chevanique has spent the past year settling into a new apartment, leaning into her career, and getting to know herself outside a relationship for the first time in years. “I’ve taken time to really get to know who I am as a person — and what I’m willing to accept and what I’m not willing to accept from a future partner,” she says. But that doesn’t mean she’s seeking anything out. “I’m not looking for a guy. If it happens and it comes, then it comes.”
