John Cena just shattered another in-ring milestone: Ahead of the WWE Superstar’s final Monday Night Raw appearance on Nov. 17 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the 17-time WWE World Champion became a Grand Slam Champion after winning the Intercontinental Championship on the Nov. 10 edition of Raw. The Grand Slam title — which requires a wrestler to rack up crowns for WWE Champion, Intercontinental Champion, United States Champion, and Tag Team Champion — is held by a precious few Superstars. It’s such an achievement that Governor Maura Healey of his home state of Massachusetts declared Nov. 10 John Cena Day.
As the former Doctor of Thuganomics and the Guinness World Record holder for the most Make-A-Wish wishes granted, Cena is no slouch in or out of the ring. Not only is he one of WWE’s most accomplished figures, he’s also a bonafide movie star. Cena first broke onto the big screen in The Marine (2006) and has since gone on to star in comedies like Sisters (2015), in action flicks like Bumblebee (2018), and as Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel)’s long-lost brother, Jakob, in the Fast & Furious franchise. He’s starred in and produced his own series, James Gunn’s Peacemaker, in which he plays the eponymous antihero. And soon, he’ll star opposite Eric André in a new comedy, Little Brother. Cena plays a bodyguard hired to protect a journalist (Alison Brie) while she interviews a volatile dictator (Juan Pablo Raba) in this 2023 action comedy from director Pierre Morel (Taken). But when a military coup in the fictional Paldonia ruins their plans, they have to work together to survive mercenaries, the jungle, and each other. Christian Slater (Unfrosted), Alice Eve (Star Trek Into Darkness), Marton Csokas (The Equalizer), and Sebastián Eslava (Wild District) co-star.

In the near future, two private contractors have separate, seemingly opposing missions: Chris (Cena), a former marine, wants to bring running water to a rural village; Commander Luo (Jackie Chan), aka Dragon Luo, wants to save civilians from a rebel incursion. They’re forced to work together in this 2023 action adventure to thwart an oil heist, save Iraqi civilians, and kick some serious ass along the way.

The Road to WrestleMania is long and filled with obstacles, including Raw, where rivalries intensify and Superstars look to make their marks in the WWE history books. This 2025 docuseries takes a closer look at this journey to four WrestleManias, including the one in 2024, when Cena and The Undertaker took to the ring to help Cody Rhodes dethrone Roman Reigns and win the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Big E hosts this collection — first released in 2025 — of must-see historic Raw matches and moments. Episode 3 dives deep into all things Cenation, highlighting what “hustle, loyalty, and respect” can accomplish in and out of the ring.

WWE: Unreal (2025) gives fans a peek behind the curtain, showing how feuds and dynasties are made — from the writers room to the ring. WWE’s chief content officer Paul Levesque (aka Triple H) is the narrator for this docuseries, in which viewers follow Cena and some of his fellow Superstars — including Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, Charlotte Flair, and Xavier Woods — backstage to learn how legends are born.
