Danielle Brooks Reveals Whether Her Home Is Organized After ‘Home Edit’

Plus, more participants from Season 2 update us on the state of their color-coded pantries.

Clea and Joanna of Get Organized with The Home Edit make messes into rainbow-color-coded masterpieces with the help of some storage boxes, labels and tricks to keep things clean. But once the dynamically organized duo leave the homes (and offices) of the people lucky enough to have benefited from their skills, many may wonder if they’re actually able to keep up with their methods.

We asked some of the lucky people who were featured in Home Edit Season 2 how their lives have changed since Clea and Joanna stepped in, and whether or not those rainbow closets are really as easy to maintain as they look.

The Hamiltons (Episode 1)

We still love our space that the Home Edit team organized! When we go into our pantry, it still seems unreal that this is our space. Every member of our family benefits from the system that they put into place.

Our pantry is still organized in the same manner that The Home Edit created for us. It was an easy transition because everything had its own place. And whenever we had to add a new item, it made it easy for us to incorporate it into the system we already had. It also makes it easy for me to make my grocery list and put away groceries, which saves me a lot of time. Our space is ABSOLUTELY 100% still edited! The Home Edit team made it foolproof!

Winnie Harlow (Episode 2)

I’ve just moved into a new house, so it was so helpful to have The Home Edit come in and get my glam room together. It’s been super functional, and I use my glam room all the time now! It has been a pretty easy transition. I get new products in a lot, so it is challenging to maneuver at times, but the Home Edit team created such a great system and process for me to sustain. And it is still edited! I’ve been able to maintain the organization since they came, with a lot of ease.

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger (Episode 3)

We are getting such great use out of the space since the Home Edit team came. It was for sure an easy transition, and the work space is even being used! Our space has still been edited since the team came in for the most part, unless someone has a special project he’s working on...

Danielle Brooks (Episode 5)

I am loving my zen mama room that was created by the team, and I’m not the only one — I can’t get my husband out of there!

I have been able to keep the space organized and neat since they left. It’s crazy how just a little help (or a lot of help) can go such a long way for someone. I can’t wait to hire them for more rooms in my home.

Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and family (Episode 6)

We’ve really enjoyed this new space and the system that has been implemented in our home. We have kept it up fairly well and also have been able to maintain good practices. We have definitely become more intentional about putting things away before we leave the room or before we go to bed, and we have learned that everything has a place. The kids have even started to teach us about where things go! Since the team came in, we would say our space is “medium-edited” — we could always use some more “editing.”
